RequirementsConditions of Employment- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Career Field in Program Management, Level III is required. Selectee must achieve certification within 36 months of appointment.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (ATL) Workforce position. The employee must meet Dodi 5000.66 requirements applicable to the duties of the position.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Basic Requirement for Management Analyst NH-0343-04:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: exercising technical and/or administrative oversight for planning, developing, monitoring, and/or controlling costs, schedules, performance; AND supporting the organization in providing support through the phases of life-cycle acquisition management; AND developing comprehensive plans involving both short and long-range requirements for Project Management execution. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-03).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
