Makeup Artist / Retail Specialist

Blue Water Plastic Surgery / Blue Water Spa is seeking a cosmetic retail and makeup professional to join our extraordinary concierge team. Candidates must have a very polished professional presentation with excellent verbal skills. A makeup artist with a professional demeanor, a vibrant attitude, and a love for aesthetics, makeup and medspa services is a must. Additional experience in marketing, social media, and business development a plus. There is much opportunity for growth within our organization.

You will have experience with medical makeup brands like Glo Minerals and Oxygenetics. And, experience with traditional lines like Bobbie Brown and Laura Mercier. A makeup artist will ideally have familiarity with luxury makeup brands like La Mer Chantecaille, Cle de Peau, Westman Atelier, Sisley and La Prarie.

Blue Water Spa skin care products are Leaping Bunny Certified, cruelty free and Reef Friendly with no harmful ingredients. As a makeup artist and skin care retail specialist, a primary role is educating patients and clients on makeup, color matching, and providing instruction on using tools to make the most of their makeup. Makeup lessons will include application and blending of camouflage, foundation, natural looking contouring and finishing powders. The focus is on beautiful skin. We are not looking for specialty, glam, or special occasion makeup. Rather, we would like a skin and makeup specialist who can help our clients look their best with makeup and skin care every day. If a client wants fuller lips, send her for filler, or a Botox lip flip. No need to cover a tattoo, we have lasers for that. Hyperpigmentation can be addressed with peels and lasers. You will be working in tandem with our aesthetic medical professionals to provide the very best results for guests. You will be part of a professional, warm, patient focused team who enjoys collaborating. Divas need not apply.

Expertise with all skin tones from very light to very dark is essential. Clients range from teens looking to cover blemishes to more mature women with a desire to highlight their good skin.
