Job Summary:

• As a Maintenance Technician, you will install, modify, inspect, and repair buildings, grounds, building systems, and equipment to maintain safe, attractive, comfortable, functional facilities that promote and enhance patient care.
• You will utilize effective communication skills, interacts with others in a courteous manner, consults and notifies appropriate personnel in accordance with Plant Operations Policies and Procedures.
• You will relay important information and feedback promptly to supervision and fellow workers, and actively participates in performance assessment and improvement activities.
• You complete assignments for maintenance, demonstrates reliability and dependability.
• You will utilize cost-effective measures and exhibits positive behavior including interaction with fellow workers.

Qualifications

• Three (3) verifiable years experience at a hospital or comparable facility preferred

• Valid Georgia Driver’s License.

• Current Class II Unrestricted Master Plumber License, Class II Unrestricted Conditioned Air License, or Class II Unrestricted Electrical License (all State of Georgia-specific license specified at declaration of vacancy), and a Class I Georgia Association of Power Engineer License or satisfactory progress to this end, or equal level of experience preferred.

• Ability to read and understand English
