Job Description

Position Summary: In this position, you will work COBA cases, pet rooms and preventative maintenance. Generally, the maintenance technician will assist with the repairs and maintenance needs across the hotel, including the completion of p.m. and deep cleans according to the prescribed schedule.


Essential Job Functions

  • Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
  • Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Manage heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality.
  • Plan and schedule repairs.
  • Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry.
  • Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies.
  • Any other related duties as assigned by the General Manager or Chief Engineer.

Education

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field preferred

Experience

(1) year of experience in a hotel engineering function or similar role

Hours required

Scheduled days and time vary based on hotel needs. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Physical Demands

Employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15-25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25-50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
