Job Description

Riverside Management and Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Specialist for a private restaurant at a newer 55+ residential community in Lincoln, CA. The ideal candidate will be a Maintenance Specialist with at least 2 years of facility maintenance to maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment. Essential Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Inspects, evaluates, and monitors, facility including the interior of the building and the exterior of the property, equipment and surrounding grounds for deficiencies, potential safety, health, or code problems, and necessary repairs needed and resolves issues in real-time including electrical, plumbing, and related equipment
  • Plans, schedules, prioritizes, oversees, and performs maintenance, repairs, and renovation of the amenity building
  • Identifies and evaluates electrical issues and coordinates repairs with licensed electrician
  • Processes and executes work orders; oversees renovations, repairs, and maintenance of machinery in the workplace
  • Performs routine maintenance and repairs on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures
  • Performs unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed including replacing light bulbs and cleaning windows, maintaining grounds, parking lots, and other areas
  • Interacts with Resort Staff or members in a pleasant manner
  • Develops and maintains maintenance logs and reports ensuring leadership is always informed
  • Identifies short-term and long-term equipment and facility needs and plans accordingly
  • Ensures that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manner
  • Assist with set-up and take-down with events as needed
  • Ensures that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked

The Ideal candidate will possess these qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years building maintenance, facilities manager or relevant experience required
  • Availability to work weekend shifts
  • Physical stamina to perform required maintenance and repairs in a fast-paced environment
  • Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
  • Administrative experience in evaluating estimates and processing work orders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance and speaking ability.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, analytical/critical thinking skills
