ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Position Summary

This position will troubleshoot and communicate mechanical issues in the production area and maintain a productive, safe and clean work environment.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and performs job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
• Assure vendors follow the Menasha Contractor Safety guidelines and keep current on annual orientation
• Provide on-going communication regarding work orders in process and status of various projects
• Complete scheduled work orders electronically and monitor results
• Assure weekly Maintenance cleaning is complete and paperwork signed (includes Maintenance Office, mezzanine, and maintenance storage locations)
• Enhance internal and external department communication toward a cohesive work environment
• Discuss maintenance concerns with maintenance supervisor and lead
• Proactively communicate problems encountered to applicable areas
• Enhance communication for a cohesive work environment
• Work as a Maintenance Team to accomplish workload
• Maintenance/troubleshooting
• Provide Electrical/Mechanical troubleshooting
• Perform preventative maintenance duties and provide accurate documentation of such duties
• Actively participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS

Certified Millwright Maintenance Journeyman, preferred

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand 6-8 hours
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. maximum
• Frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Frequent bending and lifting
