nPerforms full range of skilled duties to install, maintain and repair facility electrical equipment and systems
nImplements new electrical installations and installs conduit and wiring according to National Electric Code specifications
nResolves complex technical problems and interprets technical manuals for plant machinery
nDemonstrated ability to read, interpret and troubleshoot ladder logic or other program language in SLC, PLC, and HMI control system programs
nAdvises and consults with maintenance supervisor on new and revised plant and machine electrical installations
nConnects power cabling to equipment
nKnowledge of and complies with facility arc flash requirements
nRepairs and helps develop guarding processes
nTraining: Demonstrated willingness and ability to train others
Qualifications: Requires a certificate from a 2 year technical school. Requires a minimum of 5 years related experience.
Proven ability to read electrical schematics and hydraulic / pneumatic circuit schematics. Ability to fabricate and weld sheet metal and industrial piping systems. Possesses good problem solving skills. Communicates effectively. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and part of a team. Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and overtime on a regular basis. Reasonably available to attend off-shift training when required.
