Maintenance Manager

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Manager to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and preventative maintenance duties for our Stark county group homes.

Maintenance Job Description

Employee is responsible for maintenance of all homes, equipment, and ensures that vehicles are properly maintained. This position is responsible to ensure all Federal, State and local laws, regulations and codes are met for Empowering People.

Maintenance Specific Job Duties

• Maintain open communication with company management team
• Develop and maintain a professional relationship with all customers that facilitate positive morale, mutual respect, and an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation.
• Provides coaching and development of all employees as needed regarding maintenance functions on an on-going basis.
• Participate in all surveys as needed (ODH, DODD, Internal QA, etc).
• Maintain a thorough, current knowledge of all state and federal rules, laws, and regulations pertaining to maintenance functions at Empowering People. Know and assure implementation of all policies and procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining all preventative maintenance, survey maintenance binders and all other policies/procedures as directed by supervisor and Foundations Health maintenance department.

• Responsible for ensuring all agency vehicles and equipment are maintained in good working order at all times including the performance of tasks. Maintains service records for all vehicles and equipment in an orderly manner.
• Responsible to ensure all equipment and homes meet ODH, life safety, DODD, EPA and any other federal or state law, code or regulation.
• Is a part of maintaining timely repairs of equipment in all homes.
• Ensures a safe environment is kept at all times free of hazardous or unsanitary conditions. Assures compliance with emergency procedure requirements.
