Maintenance Generalist Weekend PM

Successful applicants for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. Vaccine verification will be required by October 1, 2021 for Corporate based team members and by November 1, 2021 for Plant and Warehousing based team members.

Tasks

The maintenance shifts are 10-hour days, 4 days a week. You must be able and willing to work all weekends.

General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. You must be able set up, adjust and break down production line machinery. Must be able to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Must be able to read and write where required. Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Must be able to lift over 70 lbs. daily and be able to work on your feet for a period of 10 hours. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job. Must be able to work outside in extreme hot or cold environments at times. Must be able to work in a dusty environment and in temperatures of 50 degrees F or less. Other duties will be assigned by supervisor. Requirements

Applicants must have Industrial Maintenance experience, a degree, or certification in the industrial maintenance field. Must have 3 months of consecutive work history in the last 12 months.
