JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The RC Mail Clerk will be responsible for a portion, if not all, of the functions below. The RC Mail Clerk is expected to follow and/or assist other team members with the tasks below:
- Open, sort, batch and scan incoming mail.
- Access various software programs to aide in batching receivables by location.
- Perform day to day financial transactions. Including retrieving, classifying, computing, and recording accounts receivables’ data in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Identify and provide management with daily issues hindering mail batching and check deposits.
- Adhere to all compliance guidelines and regulations as established by D4C Dental Brands, Inc.
- Serve as a resource to RCM team members as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma
- 1-2 years of work experience in an office environment; dental environment preferred
- Knowledge of personal computing and software applications through experience or coursework
SPECIFIC SKILLS :
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Data entry skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Well organized, flexible and adaptability to meet RC department demands
- Ability to distinguish government, third party payers, from commercial payers
- Knowledge of dental terminology preferred
- Proficient in the use and application of MS Office, specifically Excel
