TAGG Logistics (www.tagglogistics.com) is a growing third-party logistics company that specializes in order fulfillment, distribution and light packaging. We are in need of a full-time operations supervisor with excellent knowledge of warehouse operations and order picking procedures. Prior experience with handheld scanners and computerized Warehouse Management System a must! Forklift experience required.

Full Time- Mon-Fri: 7 am- 4:30 pm

Duties and Accountabilities include but not limited to the following:

Must be able to plan and coordinate work, train and motivate warehouse associates.

Adjust staffing needs as required to meet work flow, utilizing temp staffing as needed.

Ensure warehouse associates are trained on how to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from different areas in warehouse.

Counsels, records, and disciplines as necessary; works with Human Resources personnel to ensure proper procedures and employment laws are being followed.

Monitor and evaluate associate's performance, conduct periodic reviews, set goals, coach and cross train.

Facilitate Labor and Operational KPI Metric data tracking and reporting for your areas of responsibility.

Monitors the flow of paperwork from warehouse to Client Service Department and works closely with CSR to make sure that the clients' needs are being met.

Overseas special projects requested by clients making sure appropriate staffing is scheduled and monitors project and staff from start to finish of project.

Maintain labor tracking and supply inventory for kitting projects.

Interview and recommend applications for hire as Warehouse Associates.

Skills/Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Shipping, Warehouse, and Material Handling operations, methods, and practices.

Ability to develop personnel and equipment structures to support present and future operations.

Knowledge of Transportation Management and Warehouse Management software a plus.

Must possess the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing to all levels of TAGG Logistics' personnel structure.

Ability to demonstrate "hands-on" and be active in the daily operations of the warehouse.

Must be able to complete and pass the written and driving forklift tests.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy and getting the job done right the first time.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Competency with MS Office programs (Outlook, Excel and Word)

Must be effective at staff development.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend and lift objects of up to 50 lbs.

Exposed to a combination of dust, odors and noise.

Exposed to changing temperatures hot and cold that may seem uncomfortable.

Education/Experience

High School Diploma Required

Must have at least 5 years of experience in Warehousing, Receiving, Inventory Control or Material Management in a warehouse environment with two to three years of Supervisory experience.

Salary range: 50,000 annually
