Job Summary

Operates various machines and tools to process aluminum liners and composite products. Provides wash and dry for the interior of tubes works with ovens and testing equipment, follows processes and ensures the quality and specifications are met; works with supervisors to reduce scrap and rework.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Adhere to safety procedures in all actions.
• Receives instructions, material requirements and job orders for the job.
• Operates safe and efficient machines.
• Is flexible to work across multiple functions including metal press, sanding, painting composite fiber products.

Key Functions:

• Operates grinding tools.
• Operates saws and trim tools.
• Operates wash/dry stations.
• Performs unpacking of tubes.
• Inspect parts – Liners.
• Other duties assigned.
• Operates ovens.
• Works with chemicals.

This is a manufacturing production position; training will start on entry level jobs and operators are expected to develop their skills to next level.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Preferred minimum experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Not required, but the ability to troubleshoot dies and demonstrate tool room machining practices is preferred.
• Exhibits good short and long-term decision-making in safety, diagnosis of problems and implementation of corrective actions.
