Machine Operator (Monday To Friday 6:00am To 2:30pm)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Carefully studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances.
• Planning the stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock and notifying your Supervisor of this.
• Loading and unloading of materials.
• Verifying the settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample work pieces.
• Adhering to safety procedures and regulations by maintaining safe operations.
• Continuity to be maintained among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment to accomplish organizational goals.
• Detailed labeling of parts coming off the CNC.
• Performs other related duties as requires.

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Controls and Instrumentation.
• Supply Management.
• Inventory Control.
• Proficient knowledge of general office procedures.
• Proficient in English verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of computer-aided design software.
• Strong knowledge of computer-aided design software, millwork and/or casework construction and production principles, techniques and materials.
• Strong interpersonal, research, and self-management.
• Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
• Reliability, dependability and flexibility.
• Multi-task oriented.
• Problem solving abilities.
• Time management skills.

Special Requirements / Certification:

• CNC Certification a plus.
