Machine Operator II - Sheet Extrusion

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintain Quality Control sheets every 15 or 30 minutes, start of every work order during breaks.
• Observe good safety practices and follow all safety rules.
• Maintain and keep line clean daily
• Package material with pride and in a timely manner.
• Communicate with the oncoming operator giving good instructions on what happened during your shift and what is coming up.
• Have all the required tools.
• Assist operator with all set ups.
• Have accurate set ups.
• Maintain neat records and labels.
• Follow instructions of management.
• Take care of company tools and keep in good order.
• Can set shear length and put on scrap.
• Service blenders and Hoppers
• Help give breaks
• Do minimal adjustment to the extruder to keep on producing.
• Build pallets when necessary.
• Drive forklift
• Operate overhead crane.
