Quietflex is seeking a professional skilled individual for our Duct Operator position. This position is responsible for operating the insulation machine to perform the assembly of the product (Flexible Duct). • Follow the production schedule given by the crew chief.
• Inspect the line to verify the raw materials are the correct ones (insulation, core and jacket).
• Bring appropriate labels and spec sheets.
• Make the necessary changes of Mandrel and glass guide.
• Adjust the label gun to the date code corresponding to the date.
• Load the core tray with core and foil jackets, place them on the machine, the load the insulation into the glass unwind machine.
• Put the jackets on the Mandrel and start winding jacket machine.
• Operate the Duct Machine.
• Roll the product to the bagger.
• Maintain area and keep clean at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Works under direct supervision and follows written/verbal instructions to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Resolves routine questions and problems, refers complex issues to others.
• Demonstrates an awareness of the relative urgency of tasks and responds accordingly.
• Ability to read, write and communicate with the crew chief and supervisor.
• Must have basic Math skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent
