Job Description

Superior Tube Products, an ESP International company, is looking for a Machine Operator - 1st Shift.
Job purpose

The Machine Operator operates multiple types of manufacturing equipment including tube benders, presses, wash bay, saws and lasers, etc.
Essential Duties and responsibilities
Candidate utilizes knowledge of blue prints, schematics and instructions to ensure that all items are designed and built correctly.
Execution of Machine Operator Responsibilities

  • Prepare and run assigned machinery using pre-set programs
  • Inspects product to ensure material is free from flaws or imperfections
  • Utilizes various measuring equipment/tools to verify tolerances
  • Utilizes all safety and quality measures in the operation of the machinery
  • Perform any and all tasks that would assist in production or quality within the department

Maintains Quality Standards

  • Embraces the Quality Management System in all activities
  • Applies internal quality policies and procedures in support of Company’s mission and customer standards
  • Responsible for maintaining a neat work environment and for conforming to applicable quality standards.

Qualifications
Education, Licenses/Certifications and Work Experience
High school diploma or equivalent degree (GED), 0 to 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CNC tube bender experience preferred. Prior experience with blueprint reading.
