Full Time, FTE: 1; Clinic Hours based on Patient Needs
Wellness Center - Vacaville

At NorthBay Healthcare the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) works within the scope of practice of a licensed nurse under the supervision of a provider.

The LVN is responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care in support
of a provider(s) in the ambulatory care setting.

Education:

• High school graduate or equivalent.

• Completion of accredited LVN Program.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Current California LVN license.

• IV certification required.

• Current AHA or equivalent BLS certification.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• One year’s experience in an ambulatory care setting required.

• Bilingual preferred.

• Demonstrated effective time management skills.

• Ability to use electronic health record, computers, multi-line phones, fax, and copier.

• Must demonstrate and maintain current knowledge and skill in providing ambulatory nursing care as appropriate for patients in the following age groups: Geriatric, Adult, and Young Adult.
