Lumber Yard Worker

We are currently seeking a motivated Yard Worker to fill a full-time position in our Wareham, MA location.

Responsibilities include:

· Loading of company vehicles in accordance with delivery invoices, which requires lifting and carrying merchandise, lumber, and building materials.

· Prepare customer orders by collecting and retrieving merchandise/materials from storage areas in the yard.

· Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and stock merchandise as necessary.

· Adhere to all approved company policies and procedures.

· Report customer complaints to Yard Foreman/Supervisor.

· Ensure that inventory is consistently up to date and notify supervisor of shortages and restocking needs.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

· Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

· Basic math skills

· Basic reading skills

· Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

· Prior lumber yard experience is helpful

· Prior building materials experience is a plus
