Quality, age specific, and culturally sensitive care is provided by the Licensed Practical Nurse who implements interventions to ensure that patient/family needs are addressed including physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs.Qualifications: Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of Licensed Practical Nurse Educational Program
Minimum Experience: 1 year clinical experience preferred.
Required Certification/Registration: Completion of accredited program for Licensed Practical Nursing.
Required Courses/Training: Current LPN license, ongoing and current BLS.
Physical Demands: Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking. Assists with lifting and moving patients. Lifts supplies/equipment. Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching.
Working Conditions: Contacts with patients under wide variety of circumstances. May be exposed to unpleasant patient elements. Subject to varying and unpredictable situations. Handles emergency or crisis situations. Occasionally subjected to irregular hours.
