Hello!
We are a small ecommerce company that sells retro video games and consoles (retroliogames.com). We are looking to hire a warehouse manager for our new startup warehouse here in Memphis. You'll be working independently after the first few weeks of setting things up and being trained from the previous warehouse manager who is leaving due to personal reasons. Your responsibilities will include: fulfilling orders, managing inventory counts, testing consoles and modifying items as needed. This is a very small warehouse (770 square feet and < 50 packages shipped per day). Modifying the products we are selling will take substantial time. Additionally, you will be responsible for hiring, training and managing a second (and subsequent) worker as needed. It would help to have some experience working with electronics/video game consoles as we will be required to test/modify/repair them. But nothing you'll need to do is too complex that can't be learned on the job. Basic soldering would be helpful. Warehousing and management experience is required. High computer literacy is a must. This will be a 1099 / independent contractor position paid at $600 weekly. After the first 2 months, your performance will be reviewed and as long as everything has gone smoothly, we will increase your pay to $700 per week. Additionally, you will have some flexibility in what days and hours you would like to work. Please submit a copy of your resume and answer the attached questions for the best chance of being contacted.
