Long-Term Substitute English Teacher

STARTING DATE: Tentative date: February 1, 2022 (Maternity leave, 12-14 week duration)

RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach English to MS/HS grade students in accordance with the fundamental goals and the specific educational mission of Rochambeau. Attends teachers' meetings (conseils des maitres). Participates in appropriate in-service programs. Participates in parent-teacher conferences as required or requested. Evaluates student performance in English class, maintains records for individual students, and prepares report cards.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Solid writing and speaking skills English. Follow teacher lesson plans. Collaborate with instructional staff and work in a team environment and is innovative and technology savvy. Interact effectively with students, parents, and staff. Adhere to established laws, policies, rules and regulations. Bilingual in French desired.
