JOB REQUIREMENTS
This position requires working on-site at local nursing homes to assist with telehealth visits and coordination of orders from the providers.
EDUCATIONMinimum: 1-2 years technical school or secondary education. Preferred: Associates degree in healthcare related field.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONMedical Assistant Certification required.CPR required.
EXPERIENCEMinimum: Work experience in healthcare related setting with physician practice experience. Preferred: Greater than two years in healthcare related setting with physician practice experience.

Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, 8 am-4 pm, Monday-Friday

SUMMARY OF CORE JOB DUTIES
- Maintain patient roster and coordinate timely schedule of facility visits and assist with onsite nursing home telehealth visits for the providers.
- Accurate registration of visits and collection of data necessary for coding/billing.
- Prioritize facility faxes and calls resulting in accurate, efficient responses to nursing homes, offices, pharmacies, etc.
- Accurate processing of physician and mileage payments.
