Job Summary
TA Services is looking for a Logistics Sales Manager that will oversee a team of Inside Sales Coordinators (approx. 5-7.) This position reports to the Vice President of Sales.
Responsibilities
The Manager of Business Development will perform the following along with, or to support, the General Manager:
- Develop Sales Coordinators’ industry and sales knowledge, including pipeline development, closing business, managing accounts, spot market pricing, etc.
- Set profit goals for the team and maintain a culture of accountability
- Interview sales candidates to meet hiring and headcount goals
- Ability to easily communicate the value of service offerings of the division
- Lead client-site visits/develop Sales Coordinators’ outside sales capabilities
- Work with other departments, including Pricing, Legal, Account Management, etc. to ensure client needs are met
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of logistics inside sales experience
- Demonstrated success selling a combination of service offerings (truckload, LTL, intermodal, expedited, etc.)
- Sales management experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
