Logistics Internship - Campus Program

The Daikin Logistics team is seeking an intern for 10-12 weeks during the 2021 summer. We can support flexible hours and perhaps we'll be working remote. We are examining several strategies as the basis for Daikin's next steps to transform the business. This is an opportunity to gain relevant working experience, working with several staff that each have more than 20 years' experience. This work could align with a capstone deliverable. The case studies range the spectrum of VOC, cost/benefit analysis, financial modeling, collaboration with operations, supply chain, and external business partners including 3PLs and parcel, LTL and truckload carriers. If we're successful and swift, the work will migrate directly to project management and execution.

Basic Qualifications:

Undergraduate student (completed sophomore level or higher) pursuing major in logistics or related field

Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship

Demonstrated proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

Self-motivated & detail-oriented

Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
