Position Title: Logistics Coordinator

Position Type: Full Time, Hourly, Non-exempt

Rate Starting: $20.00+ per hour (DOE)

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm, 30 min unpaid lunch

Overtime: Required as requested by management

Probationary Period: 30 Days

Position Summary:

This position requires a high degree of responsibility in order to maintain an effective and efficient logistics chain. This position will maintain an accurate count of inventory, coordinate/ execute shipping and receiving, and support general purchasing/ sales for the company. The logistics Coordinator must be pro-active in communicating and coordinating with each department head, while enforcing company policies and procedures associated with logistics and procurement. The Logistics Coordinator is tasked with supporting company-wide operations, to include assisting with the daily operations in each department as requested. The Logistics Coordinator will be required to drive in support of material delivery, pick-up and internal transfer of goods and raw material.

Skills, Knowledge, & Past Experience

· Effective, Efficient, and Safe Driving of Company Trucks (box and flatbed)

o Able to properly secure loads, operate forklift, and facilitate deliveries/pick-ups

· Manage Warehouse Inventory

· Computer Proficient

· Shipping/ Receiving/ Delivery

· Fill online orders

· Coordinate with Administration and Accounting for Shipping/ Billing purposes

· Internal Department Coordination & Support

· Order Finishing/ Inspection (Insulation/ Waterjet)

o De-tab

o Deburr

o Dry-Clean

o Package/ Palletize/ Crate

o Quality Inspection

o Labeling, Dimensions, Quantity

· Purchasing (Inventory)

· Warehouse Management

o Cleanliness, Security, Compliance

· Weekly Report on warehouse activity to Operations

· Accountability of goods while in transit

· Provide excellent customer service

Job Requirements- Prerequisites

· Valid State Driver’s License

· Clean Motor Vehicle Record
