Logistics Coordinator - Edison, NJ

As a Logistic Coordinator, you will:

  • Go-to person for a designated group of field technicians for all issues concerning inventory & inventory replenishment.
  • Facilitate each technician’s inventory count monthly, and as otherwise required. Research & reconcile inventory discrepancies as necessary.
  • Schedule Logistics jobs as required of field technicians on their respective schedules.
  • Close Logistics jobs as completed throughout the day.
  • Create & ensure timely shipping of scheduled replenishment orders for designated technicians.
  • Review field technicians’ schedules regularly to avoid stock shortages & create proplenishment orders.
  • Support field technicians by sending supplemental & proplenishment shipments ensuring accurately calculated transit time.
  • Monitor Awaiting Inspection items in repair & advise on the use of Aged Stock equipment.
  • Maintain interdepartmental communication with Installations dept., QA dept., Field Support dept., and other departments as required.
  • Sustain personal workspace & common areas in a neat and presentable manner.
  • Comply with corporate policies & procedures.
  • Paperwork is accurate & easily located.
  • Use the ADP system to submit daily punches & PTO requests
  • Perform other duties as needed.

The right candidate will have the following skills:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer confident using applications such as web based programs and Microsoft outlook.
  • Capacity for listening, dealing with confrontation, and overcoming objections.
  • Should possess good reading skills and have a clear speaking voice
  • Customer-centric mentality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Works with the team; contributes to positive team environment
  • Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Accepts and adapts to frequent change
