The Account Manager is responsible for the growth and retention of a defined customer portfolio. The AM identifies new opportunities within their portfolio, generates new opportunities, and sells creative solutions/services to drive growth through relationship building, problem solving, and providing exceptional service. As the single point of accountability, the AM is responsible for delivering customer commitments, resolving issues, driving continuous improvement, and articulating customer value. AM's utilize their broad understanding of FLEXE services, technology, and business process to retain and grow customers within their portfolio or the service line they represent.

The Account Manager is responsible for the growth and retention of a defined customer portfolio. Responsibilities:
- Strategy and Growth-
- Penetrates the account by making contacts and building relationships at multiple levels and departments within a customer's organization
- Conducts regular business reviews, leveraging internal analytics and market intelligence to gain customer insights, and understands positive and negative trends in data, to uncover new opportunities for growth, increase sales, and retain and grow the business by presenting strategic solutions to the customer
- Shares customer specific data, requirements and expectations with internal resources in order to collaboratively create viable supply chain solutions for customer base
- Reviews financial, volume and service performance reports and makes adjustments (pricing/process etc.) that create efficiencies and drive continuous improvementUses effective negotiation and sales strategies in discussing pricing and selling solutions with the customer
- Creates annual account/portfolio budgets and plans that are reviewed and managed to achieve desired outcomes
- Customer Service-
- Serves as the primary point of contact for the customers within their portfolio, delivering a positive customer experience through proactive communication, timely responses and by applying the appropriate sense of urgency as the situation dictates
- Manages conflict and navigates difficult conversations with the customer, using tact and diplomacy
- Acts as an advocate for customers, internally conveying customer specific needs across the organization, to ensure proper alignment and prioritization of resources
- Collaborates and actively communicates with partners in the supply network regarding customer needs, issues and solutions in order to meet customer expectations
- Partners with operations and supply to ensure optimal execution through the use of SOP's, best in class business processes, and mutually agreed upon customer KPI's
- Partners with sales team to onboard new customer accounts, looks for ways to leverage automation, define expectations and timelines, and set plans for execution
- Builds trusting relationships by ensuring quality execution against expectations and collaborating with internal partners to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Understands negotiated payment terms and processes and ensures timely invoicing through monthly reviews
- Pricing-
- Manages pricing strategy through a clear understanding of customer buying habits and FLEXE's position within a client's supply chain
- Uses internal tools and resources to determine pricing strategyLead's RFP opportunities with customers within portfolio
- 1+ years in a customer facing role in the supply chain/logistics industry required
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Goal-oriented, organized team player
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills
- Keyboarding skills and computer literacy with spreadsheets, word processing, presentations and other related programs
- Must be authorized to work in the US without restriction. We will not be sponsoring visas for this role at this time.
