POSITION: Locksmith Technician – Experienced

EMPLOYMENT: Full-time

COMPENSATION: $30/hr - $35/hr (competitive offer depending on experience)

We're a well established security company located in the East Bay for 60 years and have openings for Journeyman Locksmiths.

Must have at least 2 year of locksmith experience.
Must have strong time management skills and be a team player.
Must be able to take direction and constructive feedback in a positive way.
Must be reliable and enjoy a fast paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:

• Journeyman Locksmith
• Key cutting and key duplication
• Experience with safe locksmithing and safe combination changes
• Experience with panic exit locks
• Valid California driver's license
• High attention to detail
• Accurate, efficient, and organized
• Dependable and punctual
• Team player with great attitude
• Strong sense of urgency
• Savvy and solution-oriented
• Strong mechanical aptitude

Skills that are used in this position (you don't have to have all of them!):

• Carpentry skills (framing carpentry or finish carpentry)
• Door installation and adjustment skills (wood doors, metal doors, ornamental iron doors)
• Welding (stair tread replacement and repair, ornamental iron installation or repair, lock repair
• Mailbox repair and installation, mailbox lock work
• Locksmithing - fitting keys to locks, repairing locks, installing locks - general locksmith work
• Door closer installation
