Loan Officer Assistant for FDIC Bank at our Glendale production office

Compensation: Salary plus Bonus

Position: Loan Officer Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Loan Coordinator/Junior Processor that can help manage a pipeline and with office administrative tasks. Will need experience in Customer Service, with an ability to critically think.

Needs to be detailed oriented, coachable, looking to be challenged, continuing education, can self-manage with time management skills.

Position Summary

This role is primarily responsible for assisting the Loan Officer by ordering/tracking/following up on supporting documents needed. Along with other tasks assigned to help the Loan Officer and Processor prepare mortgage loans for underwriting and closing.

Essential Function and duties include but not limited to:

  • Gather client's information and documents to complete loan file through loan officers
  • Process and request conditions required for loan closing
  • Process, analyze and evaluate content of documents according to the company’s lending compliance guidelines. Report to supervisor for discrepancy
  • Must have sense of urgency and work independently
  • Professional communication skills with loan officers, vendors and borrowers
  • Excellent writing skills for email correspondences
  • Duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous loan experience preferred but not required
  • Must be computer literate and fast learner for different softwares and lender systems
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, OneDrive, Google Drive, etc.
  • Super detail oriented
  • Punctual & responsible
  • Able to accept constructive criticism
  • Minimum 1 year office work experience
  • Authorized to work in the US

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: BOE plus Bonus

Past experience or mortgage specific knowledge is not a requirement but preferred

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
