Live-In Caregiver/CNAs Wanted

Caregiver Job Responsibilities:

• Assists clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care and skim care according to the individual care plan.
• Allows and encourages clients to do as much independent care as possible.
• Meal planning, food shopping and meal preparation as needed.
• Encourage clients to eat a proper diet and take adequate fluids then record and report any changes in the clients eating habits to your supervisor as needed.
• Companionship is a must!
• Medication reminders as per each client's care plan.
• Observe and document the health and emotional condition of each client and reports all changes to your supervisor.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for the client; performs general housekeeping; and follows cleaning schedules for resident laundry, bedrooms, living space, bathrooms, kitchen, and other areas.
• Assist with any required physical exercises/therapies per their care plan.
• Must be able to assist with transfers, ambulation and positioning.
• Assist with errands and appointments.
• Have transportation means (whether by your own car or public transportation) to get you to and from your work location.

PHCS is looking for Caregivers/CNAs for both Hourly and Live-In Care. We have both full-time and part-time work available. We pride ourselves in being flexible to work around your current lifestyle to accommodate your availability to work with us, especially in these crazy times.

Caregiver Qualifications/Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Skilled at creating a safe environment

• Good at motivating others
• Great bedside manner
• Must have a valid in-state driver’s license or ID
• Must be over 21 years old
