Litigation Paralegal

The Position:

Our rapidly growing Dallas personal injury law firm, located in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas, is seeking a qualified litigation paralegal.

Responsibilities:

The position will generally entail assisting the litigation attorneys, communicating with clients, preparing correspondence, preparing pleadings, organizing the case's electronic files, reviewing incoming case-related mail, calendaring and ensuring compliance with deadlines and case schedules, preparing discovery and discovery responses, obtaining medical records/billing affidavits, reviewing medical records and related billings, filings with the court, preparing documents for trial, and other related duties. You will also be responsible for assisting and helping to manage pre-lit cases handled by the litigation attorneys. Candidates will be a part of a fast-paced team environment and will provide all needed support to the assigned lawyers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 years of plaintiffs litigation experience involving personal injury cases.
• Competent computer and administrative skills.
• Overall organization and attention to detail are absolutely necessary.
• Willingness and ability to interact with clients, adjusters, and other lawyers/paralegals over the phone and in person.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Spanish speaking.
