Line Operator (FT)

Zinus USA is looking for candidates interested in working in a manufacturing environment.

Job: Line Operator (2nd Shift Only)
Second Shift Role: 3:30pm-12:30am
Hourly Rate: 15.75-16.75
Employees Raise: 3months, 6months, 9months, 12 months, 24 months, 36 months

***Overtime is REQUIRED. ALL Employees will be paid time and a half***

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Receives, distributes, and stores materials as directed in designated areas of the facility, using means other than a powered industrial truck such as a Walky Forklift.
• Updates and maintains records of materials received and shipped.
• Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy, including accompanying documents.
• By using handheld devices, scan barcodes to systems, such as ERP. If needed, will record data manually.
• Checks condition of Walky Forklift or other equipment before and after use.
• Handles the movement of various materials in accordance with safety and procedural standards.

• Assumes other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Manager.

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB: *

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred experience in a warehouse setting.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good math and written communication skills.
• Efficient time management skills.

Physical Requirements: *

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to complete daily tasks.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
