Lift Maintenance Helper

Overview: As the new Lift Maintenance Helper, you will assist the Technicians in maintaining and repairing all aspects of Boyne Highlands Resort's chairlifts, carpets, and zipline structures. If working outside at a beautiful location while gaining a valuable skillset sounds awesome, this is the job for you. This position will generally work 4 ten hour shifts a week Tuesday through Friday 7 AM to 5 PM. Then you will get a three-day weekend to enjoy the perks of working for the resort!
Responsibilities: The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position.

• 
  Assist in maintaining, repairing, and ensuring safe operation of all Boyne Highlands chairlifts, carpets, and other cable rope transportation systems.
• Running the lifts for maintenance.
• Maximize safety within all aspects of the department.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist in other tasks as determined by the Lift Maintenance Manager, including but not limited to; lift construction, refinishing, lift operations, and other resort needs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or a GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Experience in lift maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Mechanical abilities and a working knowledge of low voltage systems are required.
• Candidates should be experienced in detachable and fixed-grip lifts along with surface lifts.
