Position: Lifestyle Coordinator
Reports to: General Manager
Location: Rocklin, CA
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and oversight of creative, customized community events and to provide quality day to day management and support for the communication needs of the Whitney Ranch Community Association. Focus will include but not limited to, the management, coordination and updating of the Whitney Ranch website, social media, resident portal, regularly scheduled email communications and event coordination of all aspects of community events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and implement customized large-scale community events and smaller neighborhood activities to create a customized and unique community spirit within Whitney Ranch.
- Ensure accurate documentation for all community program plans, vendor contacts, financial, event summary reports, etc., as required in the standardized format that will direct the activities of the community addendum
- Ensure timely and accurate reports to supervisor, property managers, and the association board of directors
- Perform monthly reconciliation of petty cash and association debit cards (p-cards)
- Identify, ensure approval, hire, and oversee performance of all vendors for events and programs in accordance with the documented Community Programs strategic plan, including review of all vendor invoices prior to payment
- Ensure accurate data for the master community event calendar for all assigned addendums and update on a monthly basis
- Develop and cultivate positive relationships with cities, school districts and local businesses as well as other recreational program service providers in assigned communities to ensure maximum programming opportunities for minimal expense
- Create survey tools and processes to identify local recreational programs and community events of interest to residents of assigned communities
- Ensure design, maintenance and timely updated content for the website, resident portal and social networking sites.
- Provide oversight to ensure the regularly scheduled email blasts and other electronic communication is on the community website and distributed to members
- Ensure ongoing promotion of community website usage, community events and other opportunities reach members
- Attend all company mandatory functions
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Other projects and opportunities as assigned

None at this time, but opportunities may arise in the future and will be communicated.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be proficient with Microsoft office software including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook.
- Experience with Google docs, Google sheets, Canva preferred

- Addresses problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions
- Demonstrate strong organizational, project and time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication

EDUCATION:
- Minimum 2+ years related job experience or college degree preferred
- Committed to continual learning as evidence by attendance at industry seminars and programs
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Proficient in English Bilingual Spanish helpful

- Must be able to lift 25lbs.
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time to properly manage and oversea all community events and programs
- Must be physically capable of working in an outdoor setting for long periods of time and in inclement weather conditions when necessary.
Must have finger dexterity for typing/using a keyboard.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time at a desk.
- Must be mobile enough to move around office.
- Must be able to drive to different Company locations if requested.
- Must be able to respond to requests and communicate with staff, co-workers, clients, and vendors
The work environment characteristics are a mixture of normal office conditions and clubhouse settings. Work is performed in a variety of environmental conditions, with exposure to outdoor temperatures, weather variations, traffic and equipment noise, and equipment vibrations. Work duties may require the ability to stand or walk on hard surfaces for frequent and prolonged periods of time. Occasional overtime will be required. Consistent and regular attendance required. Nights and weekends required. Possible holiday hours required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Certification, licensing or designations in chosen field
Valid California state driver's license and state mandated insurance required.
