Skilled Labor - Trades Lifeguard I SummaryWe are looking for a lively and enthusiastic individual who will oversee the aquatic facility and aquatic activities while ensuring the safety of all members and program participants. Under the leadership of the Aquatics Supervisor, the Lifeguard will be responsible for knowing and properly executing all aquatic policies, procedures and duties.
Opening Shift - 5:15 am
Closing Shift - 8:00 pm
DetailsDaily Tasks
Wear required uniform including lifeguard shirt, bathing suit/shorts, whistle, tube and fanny pack containing first aid items (on the stand).
Diligently ensure the safety and protection of each patron in the aquatic area at all times by enforcing all required rules, policies and procedures (on the stand).
Always report to duty on time and work all scheduled shifts. Qualified substitutions must be approved by supervisor in unavoidable scheduling conflicts.
Inspect and maintain all emergency equipment, other pool equipment, and cleanliness of the pool.
Qualifications
Must be 16 years old
Previous lifeguarding experience is preferred
Must hold and maintain all required certifications
