Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Sawyer Behavioral Health is currently seeking 2-3 mental health professionals fully licensed in the state of Texas to join our growing practice as independent contractors!

• We have both fully furnished and un-furnished offices available immediately for licensed therapists to join our practice as independent contractors.
• All contractors have access to use of a fully stocked playroom, art-room, sand -tray room, PCIT room, and conference room. There is also a large room with chairs to be accessed for group counseling sessions.
• A private bathroom for therapists and office staff, and a fully functional kitchen/ breakroom is available for use.
• A separate men's and women's restroom can be accessed by clients as well as two large waiting rooms downstairs and two smaller waiting rooms upstairs.
• An administration desk is located directly upon entering the practice where 1-2 administration staff are always located during operating hours to greet and assist clients. Administration staff provide all billing, credentialing, referral maintenance, document maintenance, and take all client calls and payments.

• Required skills for this position are active listening skills, excellent session documentation skills, and interpersonal communication skills. An active Texas license, preferably as an LPC or LMFT, is required. At this time, we are offering mainly telehealth sessions. Contractors have the ability to set their own hours.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $84.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All clients that enter the practice are required to wear a mask. Counselors have the ability to work remotely conducting only telehealth sessions and all interactions with administration staff can be completed over the phone if preferred.
