Licensed Nail Technician

We are looking for a licensed Nail Technician or Cosmetologist to provide nail care services to our customers based on their needs and preferences. Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to polishing fingernails and toenails, painting designs and applying gel and/or acrylic nails. If you’re up-to-date with nail art techniques and know how to provide excellent customer service, we’d like to meet you!

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service

• Have a good attitude
• Provide manicure, pedicures, and all components of said services
• Recommend colors and designs based on each customer’s style
• Prepare and clean beauty station in-between appointments
• Sterilize equipment before and after use
• Inform clients about additional services and offers (e.g waxing, massage, aesthetics)
• Offer nail care treatment tips (e.g. how to strengthen nails and how to make manicures last longer)
• Up-sell treatments and beauty products, when appropriate
• Take an interest in customers (e.g. chatting with them during appointments and remembering their preferences)

Skills

• Previous work experience as a Nail Technician, manicurist or similar role is preferred.
• Expertise in basic and advanced nail techniques including acrylic and/or gel extensions, French manicures, and nail art.
• Understanding of sanitation and sterilization standards
• Excellent customer service and positive attitude
• High school diploma
• Licensed in Cosmetology or as a Nail technician.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $36.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability
