Job Description
At Alamo Heights Dermatology, we believe that a doctor and patient become a team for treating an individual’s dermatology needs in San Antonio.
ResponsibilitiesRESPONSIBILITIES FOR LICENSED AESTHETICIAN
  • Alamo Heights Dermatology is seeking a licensed aesthetician to join our team in a medical setting. You will work with our patients on achieving skin care goals via aesthetic services and skin care regimens. This is a great opportunity to work in a friendly and fun practice to help our patients look and feel their very best.
  • Welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner upon check-in, treatment and departure
  • Provide laser treatments, microneedling, chemical peels, facials, dermaplaning, Diamond Glow, skin care consultations and other services offered.
  • Obtain needed consents for treatment
  • Taking photos of patients as needed and uploading into the patient chart
  • Educate patients on different treatments and products
  • Maintain accurate electronic records of each session
  • Provide post care instruction sheets to patients
  • Answer/return patient calls and document in patient electronic chart.
  • Schedule/cancel/confirm patient appointments
  • Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms in addition ensuring the room is stocked with supplies and products
  • Charge all electronic devices for next day use
  • Clean equipment after each use/daily
  • Maintain inventory and order aesthetic cosmetic products and supplies
  • Additional duties assigned by the physician, physician assistant, practice manager or assistant manager

Required SkillsQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSED AESTHETICIAN
  • Aesthetician State Licensure to Practice
  • 3+ years of Medical Aesthetician Experience
