Library Resource Manager and Online Student Support
Position Summary:
Maintain the library offerings, library website and student resources.
Support students taking online classes.
Conduct student orientation sessions.
Provide information literacy training sessions for all students.
Work directly with faculty to determine resources needed to complement instructional delivery, to support the curriculum, and to provide relevant student learning experiences.
Work a varied schedule with some evenings to be available for evening students.
Skills/Competencies/Qualifications:
· Degree in Library Science or Information Science Preferred
· Comfort level with IT hardware
- Strong technology skills in MS Office and the Internet
· Prior experience with a learning management system such as Canvas and a student information system such as CampusVue a plus.
· Demonstrates passion for supporting student success; prior experience in student services a plus.
· Excellent organization and project management skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels of an organization; excellent listening skills.
