Job Description

Description:**This is for a Spring 2023 co-op**

Hey Dolphins! Lockheed Martin Corporation's Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) business is in search of an astute Systems Engineering intern to join our team. This role offers an exciting gateway opportunity to experience what it is like to work for a top-tier employer known throughout the world for its engineering prowess and its game changing product offerings and robust solutions.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems

  • Perform analyses at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal

  • Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints

  • Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's level degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Chemical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related technical field and zero years of professional experience.

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance, therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required

**This is for a Spring 2023 co-op**

  • A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher is preferred but not required
