We are looking for an entry-level Legal Administrative Support Specialist who will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Legal and Compliance Departments. Complete multiple ad-hoc projects daily.

About You:
Attention to detail and proven ability to follow-up without oversight
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to use proper grammar, spelling, punctuation and sentence structure to answer correspondence
- Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to receive and respond positively to constructive feedback
- Sensitivity and ability to retain confidences (familiarity with lawyer-client privilege a plus)
- Working knowledge of office equipment (copiers, fax machines, etc)
- Good interpersonal skills – Ability to produce results in a diplomatic manner
- Ability to exercise tact and good judgment
- Experience interacting with all levels of a company including senior management
- Associate’s degree from college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong software skills with Microsoft products (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio)
- At least 1 year of related experience
What is a day in the life at Flagship as a Legal Administrative Support Specialist?
- Provide extensive account documentation for litigation and exam requests on a timely basis
- Create and maintain physical and electronic filing structures
- Log legal matters and invoices on a timely basis.
- Create and prepare reports, schedules, calendars, and correspondence
- Follow up on outstanding work and issues
- Support staff by organizing meetings, making travel arrangements and completing expense reports
- Prepare and assemble presentations and training materials
- Serve as a backup to Legal Executive Administrator
- Assist with subpoena and documentation production for litigation matters, which involves working in various software applications
- Sorts and dates incoming mail. Ensures that outgoing mail is timely delivered
- Other miscellaneous general office responsibilities
