Essential Duties & Responsibilities for Legal Administrative Assistant
- Collect, examine, and organize evidence and other legal documents.
- Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents, such as Appellate Briefs.
- Research regulations, laws, and legal articles to assist with the preparation of reports, case files, and legal briefs.
- Manage, organize, and maintain documents in electronic filing systems.
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
- Resolve administrative problems.
- Follows communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
- Utilizes Infusion Soft Program to monitor tasks and filing deadlines.
- Populates and maintains reports.
- Perform duties in accordance with ethical practices, client confidentiality, HIPPA, and company guideline.
- Assists in other functions as needed.
Required Skills & Competencies for Legal Administrative Assistant
- 1 year College or higher.
- Proficient in reading medical literature.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Must be fluent in English (oral, writing).
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to $10.00 per hour
