The Learning Design Project Manager will be responsible for sourcing and onboarding new Client learning programs for Independent Business service partners who will be servicing Client businesses. In this role, you will achieve success through consistent engagement with Arise’s Learning, Sales and Marketing teams to create and deliver innovative sales enablement and awareness programs, as well as other initiatives to guide client opportunities with learning solutions. You’ll have an opportunity to take end-to-end ownership of key project initiatives and implement learning programs across multiple business verticals.
Responsibilities
- Provide thought leadership and direction to Instructional Design Independent Businesses and contractors who are engaged to develop virtual instructor-led activities, blended eLearning solutions, simulations, animations, and other learning solutions to meet Client needs
- Manage learning and organizational effectiveness projects that may be large, complex, medium-to-high risk, or highly visible
- Collaborate with Clients to understand specific business needs, corporate culture, infrastructure, and performance gaps before designing and developing advanced, custom, performance-improving training solutions
- Keep skills current in the Leaning and Performance space by tracking industry advances, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations, and representing Arise in the industry.
- Build relationship with Clients while managing expectations, communicating status, and resolving open issues. Respond to Client and internal concerns, prepare reports, conduct reviews, and lead Client meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
- This position does not manage internal, Arise Teammates.
- Minimal travel is required.

You may be a good fit for this role if you have:
- Prior experience working-from-home/remotely
- Advanced interpersonal and business development skills
- Superior problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated confidence in internal and Client-facing meetings and presentations
- A master’s degree and 2-5+ years of experience as in the areas of Instructional Systems Design (ISD), Performance Improvement, Project Management, or Training
- Experience with Learning Management Systems
- Excellent communication skills in writing, editing, presentation creation and delivery, and verbal communication, all with extreme attention to detail and accuracy; samples of work are a plus
- Experience with a Blended Learning Environments to include:
- Synchronous virtual
- Asynchronous virtual
- Combination of Synchronous and Asynchronous virtual
- Experience with one or more LMS systems that utilized online collaboration tools.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, web authoring tools, and virtual classroom delivery platforms such as LogMeIn and Webex.
Preferred Qualifications include:
- Any combination of a Master’s degree in ISD, Training, Adult Learning, Organizational Development, or Continuous Improvement
- Call center Learning & Development experience
- Sales enablement experience within a training and development function
- Proven ability to build and nurture relationships across multiple teams
