PRIMARY PURPOSE:

You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide excellent service consistent with the property’s core service standards and brand attributes.
  • Proactively greet, interact, and assist resort staff in a professional manner to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious work environment.
  • Proactively seek to provide refined luxury service ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Meet the demands of a fast-paced environment by using good judgment and the ability to multi-task.
  • Practice teamwork, create a positive work environment, greet fellow employees and thank them when they lend assistance.
  • Monitor the Call Center and Reception Desk for cleanliness and re-organize as needed.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of computers/office equipment.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
  • Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
  • Be knowledgeable of Spa and Salon Department Goal Board/Market Metrix Board and Hotel goals.
  • Own all requests and complaints; resolve issues immediately and follow up to ensure the guest’s satisfaction.
  • Identify and report defects throughout the Spa and Salon; notify supervisors immediately of hazards, injuries, equipment or processes that negatively affect the operations.
  • Participate in the property’s sustainability initiative through energy conservation and the use of recycling programs and materials.
  • Ensure Hotel property and equipment is properly used and maintained protect and utilize Hotel assets in a responsible and professional manner.
  • Maintain professional and courteous behavior to all guests and employees.
  • Performs all other job related duties as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

PREFERRED:

  • Two (2) years of customer service or spa experience
  • Working knowledge of spa software
  • Experience working in a similar resort setting

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
  • Knowledge of spa and salon services
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Indoor working conditions with hot and cold surfaces, steam, and wet floors
  • Varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
