NUPRO LLC in South Deerfield, MA is actively seeking a full-time Lead QC & Process Technician / Die Technician to perform flat die extrusion, die tooling, and assembly techniques while identifying, evaluating, and training candidates on company protocols and related training documents. This manufacturing / quality control position comes with a competitive salary of $55,000-$60,000 per year, based on skills and experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LEAD QC & PROCESS TECHNICIAN / DIE TECHNICIAN

In this lead manufacturing role, you take responsibility for the outcome of various extruded TPU film/sheet projects and the overall training of our film extrusion operators. Working hands-on with film extrusion operators, you encourage continuous improvement and ensure their work is on par with our quality control standards. You implement a training program to teach employees how to uphold proper safety practices, how to be more efficient, and how to increase production uptime. You also assist with film inspection and conducting internal quality audits. To maintain an efficient operation, you log and track data, as well as identify trends and out of spec situations. With you on our team, our film extrusion operators are confident in their abilities, and you love that you play a vital role in the success of our company!


QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LEAD QC & PROCESS TECHNICIAN / DIE TECHNICIAN

  • Extrusion manufacturing experience
  • Experience with flat die plastics extrusion equipment
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft applications
  • Able to maintain database files

Experience in one of the following related fields: quality control, technical shift lead, or equivalent in a film extrusion environment, or flat die extrusion is preferred.
