Job Description Overview:
The role of the Production– Framing Lead is to follow the production line within the department. Certain duties require machine operation, while others require more hand tools.
Compensation: $14.50 – $16.60 +
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensure that all critical and rush orders are executed in a timely manner
- Ensure all areas have materials required for workers to complete tasks efficiently
- Oversee the day to day activities to meet expectations
- Train new team members and coach current employees
- Report all incidents including but not limited to accidents, poor performance, attendance, machinery malfunctions.
- Pull correct material
- Organizing orders as they come in from the Paper Print and Frame shop departments
- Use measuring devices such as tapes, gauges, rules.
- Assemble or disassemble objects.
- Must be able to help out on the production line of Framing
- Work rapidly for long periods.
- Work on several tasks at the same time.
- Strong eye for detail.
- Communicate with co-workers, management, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
- Conform to all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment.
- Safety glasses must be worn at all times
- Ear protection is viable but not required
Steel toe cap or composite safety shoes must be worn at all times; provided by the employee
Additional Task and Responsibilities
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
- Work directly with the Production Supervisor on special projects as needed.
EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING:
- High School diploma, G.E.D or equivalent work experience
- Preferred general production experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Must be able to do basic math
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be detail oriented and organized.
- Must be able to work on many different projects at one time.
INTELLECTUAL DEMANDS:
- Must understand vague and implicit instructions, and react favorably in all work situations.
