What You Will Do
- Facilitates key stakeholder groups to define needs and deploy improved master data processes across a multiple ERPs, lines of business, and geographies
- Provide support for daily operations of the Global Item Master as well as design, testing, and roll-out of new functionality on the GIM platform
- Coordinate and execute on yearly cost roll activities for assigned materials
- Develop and maintain departmental reporting and analytics in conjunction with domain leaders
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with the divisional GIM project managers
- Coordinates and manage the implementation of approved data definitions, policies, and standards with Data Steward/Management teams
- Analyzes and identifies data sources, data redundancy and implements processes to remediate data issues and/or data clean-up efforts
- Identifies data quality opportunities and drives adherence with data governance and quality initiatives
- Represents BDG team in business and technology projects, ensuring data standards are followed or amended as needed
- Serve as key data subject matter for specific areas of influence (i.e. Finance, material, customer, vendor/supplier)
- Identify process redesign opportunities that may include current system enhancements or the need for new technology
- Collaborate with IT and business teams serving as central point of contact to address data management and data governance needs by object
- Analyze problems, diagnose them and find root cause, and then either create a fix or partner with a team to collaboratively design a solution
- Participates in data activities in support of strategic initiatives and projects
What You Need
- Bachelor's degree
- CDMP, IQCP, Six Sigma, or PMP certifications a plus
- 5-8 years of experience in data governance, data quality, data migration, data prep, or data architecture within key ERP and business applications (such as SAP, SAP MDG, SFDC, PLM Solutions, Informatica Suite, Collibra, etc.)
- Experience facilitating cross functional teams and delivering process improvements
- Knowledge of business and master data management applications and data uses within the Stryker ecosystem
- Building of reports and metrics in a variety of technologies
- Ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions to key stakeholders verbally and in writing- must be an outstanding communicator
- Hands-on person with exceptional analytics and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to place questions and problems in the proper context
- Strong collaboration skills with global workforce
