This role will assist with leveraging information resources and effective search strategies to support the Institute's mission to pursue sustained equity and belonging for all and will be a part of the DEI Institute, reporting to the Market Research Manager.

Specifically, the role will:


  • Help develop DEI-related research and analysis on specific topics and issues and translate market trends and opportunities.
  • Support the development and execution of various market-facing and thought leadership points-of-view.
  • Review written communications, leveraging research findings for eminence marketing and deployment.
  • Support timely reports with narrative analysis for presentation to both internal and external groups.
  • Utilize market research methods such as primary and secondary data collection, quantitative and forecast modeling, qualitative analysis, scenario development and evaluation, and research report writing to make predictions, recommendations, and develop eminence articles and reports related to DEI.
  • Assist with synthesizing relevant information to create visually compelling presentations that simplify the communication of complex information and enhance comprehension.
  • Support data quality, plan and lead research activities, and assist senior leadership
  • Build effective working relationships with subject matter experts within the firm and the external marketplace.

The individual selected for this role must be passionate and enthusiastic about DEI and its mission and must be able to build strong relationships and collaborate across multiple teams.

The team

Under the direction of the Chief DEI Officer, the National Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) office develops and drives the firm's national DEI strategy. This role will work closely with the DEI Institute team and collaborators to strengthen Deloitte's DEI brand and impact externally.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Minimum 5 years of research or related experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
  • Strong knowledge of project management processes and procedures
  • Experience using a wide variety of research databases
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:
  • Technical, analytic, and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and previous work experience in the DEI space

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,070-$175,080
