Who are we looking for

We are looking for a Lead Graphic Designer, Strategy that will partner with the business to create beautifully branded presentations and distinctive experiences that effectively communicate strategy while simultaneously inspiring and influencing senior stakeholders.

You’re fluent in design language and are well-versed in the software and tools of the job. You excel at the craft of design and are strengthening your strategic side by collaborating with Creative Directors and business leaders. You’re comfortable leading multiple projects with varying timelines. You have informed opinions about design, enjoy working on strategic questions, and thrive with diverse teams and cross-functional partners. You like presenting the team’s work and can address feedback so everyone’s happy with the final product. In addition to growing your own individual design strengths, you’re proactive in helping build team culture.

As Lead Graphic Designer, Strategy, you will be responsible for…

  • Bringing insights to life through multiple formats, including presentations, immersive room builds, interactive experiences, and more
  • Designing polished work that visually reflects the Nike brand while being tailored to each business function’s strategic goal
  • Collaborating on projects with cross-functional business partners, from Consumer & Marketplace to Innovation, and everything in between
  • Integrating yourself into strategic projects and helping teams craft the answer and the best way to present it to multiple audiences
  • Rapidly iterating on high priority and high visibility projects and presentations, from initial briefing through final delivery
  • Crafting presentations that communicate and storytell Nike’s 3-year strategy during the annual strategic planning process and Board of Directors meetings
  • Coordinating with agency and vendor partners on high priority, high visibility projects
  • Serving as a thought partner and design expert to expand thinking to incorporate a more visual based style of communication
What you bring to NIKE
  • A Bachelor’s degree in design, advertising, art direction or a related field
  • 6+ years of agency, in-house, or start-up design experience and interactive work preferred
  • Passion for the Nike brand, sports, and creating high-quality work
  • Outstanding visual design skills in Keynote, PowerPoint, Adobe CC, and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to create and bring wireframes to life
  • Expertise in creative data visualization, infographics, illustration design, and leading immersive room builds
  • Proven track record in translating complex information and ideas into easily digestible content and executive level presentations
  • Prior experience in animation and/or video editing is a plus
  • Ability to understand and inform the broader strategic context and business dynamics that guide the design process
