Lead Estimator - Metal Mfg. Mon-Thurs 9 Hrs. & Fri 4 Hrs.

LEAD ESTIMATOR - a high visibility position, for a progressive, growth oriented, metal manufacturing company.
This position will be responsible to prepare cost estimates for product manufacturing or services to aid management in bidding on or determination price of product or service in a job shop metal manufacturing environment. Additionally, this position will carry responsibilities as a Lead in this department. Wage for position will be based on experience.

Requirements:

• Ability to read and clearly understand engineering drawings & geometric tolerances.
• Knowledge of cost estimating methods.
• Must have high levels of computer literacy including Microsoft Office - CAD knowledge preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to present data to both internal and external customers and managers.
• Must be responsive to the needs of all customers.
• Must be able to multi-task, stay organized and be able to report on the status of any quote at any given time. Must be able to prioritize work daily.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Must be highly motivated and a self-starter and be comfortable operating independently as well as within a team environment.
• Able to create accountability and lead by example.
• Must be willing to work overtime when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
